If you have a mental health issue or addiction that is connected to a legal issue, such as being held unwillingly in a psychiatric facility, or have been found incapable of making treatment decisions, or you require help with a fitness, or consent and capacity board hearing, you may be eligible for Legal Aid. You or a support person, patient advocate, or social worker/ case manager can apply for you.
